1:45am: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 500 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction.
5:36am: A deputy assisted with cattle on the roadway on 252nd Street near the bike trial.
8:22am: A deputy assisted with locating two missing cows in the 1500 block of 120th Street.
10:57am: A deputy investigated a complaint of a low flying plane in the 2400 block of Quest Avenue.
11:35am: A deputy investigated a no contact order violation in the 700 block of Walnut Street, Scranton.
11:39am: A deputy investigated a backing accident in the 1100 block of Cedar Street, Scranton. Shalynn Hingeley 37 of Scranton backed out of her driveway and struck an unoccupied vehicle. Hingeley was operating a 2020 Ford F250 that had an estimated 400 dollars damage. The other vehicle was a 2013 Kia Optima that had an estimated 1,400 dollars damage. Hingeley was cited for unsafe backing.
12:17pm: A deputy attempted to locate two dogs running at large near 330th Street and A Avenue.
12:59pm: A deputy assisted DHS with an investigation in the 100 block of Percival Street, Rippey.
4:30pm: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 2400 block of 337th Street.
Wednesday, July 12th
4:40am: The Sheriff and deputies assisted with storm damage.
12:44pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 700 block of North Street, Churdan.
1:15pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned 911 call in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.
4:36pm: A deputy assisted with cattle out on 330th Street and Neola Avenue.
6:42pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a juvenile with suspected controlled substances in the 700 block of south Maple Street.
9:40pm: Mitchell Venteicher 38 of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
Thursday, July 13th
4:12am: A deputy investigated an abandoned 911 call in the 1000 block of Kendrick Street, Scranton.
9:51am: Deputies arrested Brian Weltzin 26 of Grand Junction for failure to appear.
11:00pm: Brian Weltzin 26 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for failure to appear.
1:15pm: Anthony Nunez 55 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for a probation violation.
2:10pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a pursuit in Jefferson.
3:04pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 800 block of Bell Street, Churdan.
3:05pm: Ryan Brown 50 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for driving while barred.
5:23pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 500 block of Bell Street, Churdan.
10:43pm: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Elm Street and Park Avenue. Amalle Mantay was arrested for providing false identification.
7:25pm: Jay Wenger 35 of Scranton was booked into the jail for driving while barred and failure to appear.
11:55pm: Amalle Mantay 18 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for providing false identification.
Friday, July 14th
1:48pm: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of East Paton Street, Paton.
2:14pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a search warrant in the 1200 block of 245th Street and 305 South Walnut Street.
4:32pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of South Wise Street, Paton.
10:55pm: A deputy investigated a single accident on 305th Street and Orchard Avenue. Bryce Burkhardt 24 of Jefferson lost control of his 2010 Chevrolet Suburban. The vehicle entered the South ditch and hit an embankment. The total estimated damage to the vehicle was 7,500 dollars. Burkhardt was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to wear a seat belt.
Saturday, July 15th
7:19am: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 220th Street and S Avenue.
1:39pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on South Elm Street near Vest Street.
3:31pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with locating a missing juvenile.
4:34pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.
5:02pm: A deputy attempted to find two dogs running at large in the 600 block of Jefferson Street, Scranton.
6:00pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.
11:38pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 170th Street near Q Avenue. Nolan Brand 23 of Somers lost control of a 2021 Chevrolet 2500 and rolled in the ditch. Brand left the scene and was later located. Brand was cited for failure to maintain control.
Sunday, July 16th
6:36am: A deputy investigated an assault in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction. Lorraine Logan 63 of Grand Junction was arrested for harassment 2nd degree and assault. Chad Logan 52 of Grand Junction was arrested for assault while displaying a dangerous weapon.
11:10am: Chad Logan 52 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for assault while displaying a dangerous weapon.
1:10pm: Lorraine Logan 63 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for harassment 2nd degree and assault.
1:12pm: A deputy assisted with locating a missing person. The subject was contacted by phone and alright.
5:25pm: A deputy investigated an illegal shooting complaint at Pounds Pit on U Avenue. Michael Larson 33 of Grand Junction was cited for operating a ATV on public land and warned for the illegal target shooting.
6:45pm: Julie Wells 56 of Carroll was booked into the jail for a probation revocation.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
