The Dallas Hospital and Family Clinics will host a wellness fair this week.
The “Dallas County’s Senior Health, Lifestyle and Wellness Fair,” will take place from 9am until 2pm on Wednesday in the DCH South Atrium Second Level. Marketing and Public Relations Director Thomas Harmsen says this event is free and they will have roughly 20 vendors that will put on classes, display information, serve food and play games. Harmsen explains the exhibits they will have.
“Both our own departments exhibit and share information on their service lines, which would include surgery and specialty clinics. Our clinics, our radiology Senior Life Solutions, will also have their office suite open through which we’ll be offering free vital checks through Purdue Global University students, and we’ll be facilitating different classes on topics that are relevant to aging and seniors and elderly in the community. Topics that will be pertinent to helping them live their best lives.”
