There will be a jam packed schedule for day three of the Dallas County Fair tomorrow. 

The fair itinerary will start with the 4H and FFA and Clover Kids Rabbit at 8am on Friday at the Entertainment Plaza. Also, the Swine Show will take place at the same time in the Livestock Showring and the Pigs and Pals Youth Swine Show will follow at the same location. After the Pigs and Pals Swine Show, the Clover Kids Bucket and Bottle Calf Show will take place in the Livestock Showring. Additionally, there will be midday center stage entertainment from Dangerous Feats Comedy and they will perform at 12:15pm, 4pm and 8pm. Also, at the Center Stage the Queen Coronation will commence to decide which contestant gets the crown at 4:30pm. Dallas County Fair Board Secretary Sherry James says this is something that the fair changed this year. 

“This year they’re going to be participating throughout the fair. And then the crowning of the queen is at 430(pm) on Friday at the Center Stage. We had eight very beautiful, very qualified candidates try out for the queen contest, and that will be announced on Friday night.”

In the evening there will be more Center Stage performances from the Barn Buddies and Farm Stories at 5:30pm and then Heart of Iowa Cloggers at 6pm. The Grandstand event will feature a musical performance with Ian Munsick and Kylie Frey at 7pm in the South Arena. Presale tickets are $25 and gate tickets will be $30. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will also be live on location providing updates and other announcements from 10am to 6pm.
