The Dallas Center-Grimes softball season comes to a close Tuesday night.

The ADM Tigers slam the door shut on the Mustang’s season in the substate region 2 championship game by a final score of 3 to 1.

The pitching was strong on both sides, but junior Aubrey Johansen would surrender three walks which eventually come around to score off hits. Dallas Center-Grimes finished the game with eight hits as Olivia Huston and Johansen had a multi hit game, but the starting pitching from ADM’s Lauren Hagedorn proved to be to much. She went all seven innings, striking out three, walked three and gave up one earned run. The Tigers only had four hits in the game, but they came at crucial times in the game.

Dallas Center-Grimes softball team had an incredible season as they won 29 games and won the Little Hawkeye Conference just to name a couple of accomplishments. The seniors that will graduate this year include Olivia Huston, Zoey Valenta and Abby Osborn. Congrats on a fantastic Mustang high school career.
