The Dallas County Board of Supervisors briefly met on Tuesday.
The Board approved a memorandum of understanding with Aging Resources to fund congregate and home delivered meal programs in the county. They also approved the sheriff’s office request to purchase and replace an investigation vehicle for the amount after a trade listed at $4,945. Additionally, they approved the fiscal year 2024 election board compensation as presented, Iowa Financing Authority Thriving Communities Grant letter of support, administration building pre-qualified bidder for the security, data and telecommunications package, and they set a public hearing informational meeting repair request at 7pm on August 3rd at Washington Township Building in Minburn.
Finally, they did not take action on communications, public relations and government consulting to plan to possibly add a communications specialist position for further evaluation of duties.
