The ADM Tigers Softball team picked up an impressive 3-1 road win over the DCG Mustangs last night in Dallas Center in the Class 4A Regional Championship game. The ADM Tigers softball team was led offensively by Senior Brylee Person, as she went 2-3 with a single and a key double in the bottom of the fourth inning and also came into score the third and final run of the game to secure the win for the ADM Tigers softball team. Freshman Lauren Hagedorn also went 1-3 with one single and one run batted in. Freshman Lauren Hagedorn pitched all seven innings and picked up the her 12th win of the season while giving up eight hits while striking three DCG batters on the night and improving her pitching record 12-8 on the season.
This win for the ADM Tigers Softball team will advance to Class 4A Iowa State Softball tournament in Fort Dodge, Iowa on Monday July 17th. In the First Round of the Iowa State Class 4A Softball Tournament the 24-12 ADM Tigers will play the 31-9 Fort Dodge Dodgers at 3:30 pm at Iowa Central Field on Monday July 17th. The Next ADM Tiger Softball broadcast on K1079FM – KKRF and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com will be Monday July 17th, when the ADM Tigers will play the Fort Dodge Dodgers in the First Round of the Iowa State Class 4A Softball Tournament with 3:30 pm first pitch.
