The Adel Public Library has opened registration for its upcoming day camp.
Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says that people will have until July 21st to sign up for their “Reader’s Theater Day Camp for Kids,” which spans three days from July 24th through 27th. Puck says that attendees between the ages of seven to 11 will get to learn more about drama and acting with their staff.
“If your child has a love of theatre and drama and acting, this will be a fun event for them. So they are going to learn how to read a script, how to use their voices, faces, bodies to convey the message through their acting. But they’re also going to learn behind the scenes activities.”
On the last day all the members of the Reader’s Theater Day Camp will put on their own final performance. This registration link is here, but space is limited.
