The 2023 Dallas County Fair will officially kick off tomorrow. 

The first activity that starts everything at 7:30am will be the 4H and FFA Horse Show at the south arena. Then there will be a breakfast meal served from 8am until 10am by the 4H and FFA students and funded by Dallas County Farm Bureau in the entertainment plaza. Also the carnival will open at 4pm. In the evening, there will be the 4H Style Show at 6pm in the extension office meeting room and livestock judging will begin at 7pm in the show ring. Dallas County Fair Board Secretary Sherry James says they’re ready to hand out medals. 

“Livestock has all been entered prior to Wednesday, and so the barns are full and the static exhibit building is full and ready for the public to come out and join us.”
