There was a vehicle crash that left one person injured over the weekend.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the  incident at roughly 11am on Highway 141 at the 21600 Block. Jay Miller from Bouton was driving eastbound on Highway 141 when another vehicle driven by Yordi Mena of Perry struck him from behind. Miller was transported to the Dallas County Hospital with injuries.

Miller’s vehicle sustained an estimated $3,000 in damages and Mena’s vehicle incurred $5,000 . Mena was cited for failure to stop in a safe assured distance.
