Perry residents will get the chance to dispose of household waste for free. 

 The City of Perry will be collecting household hazardous waste from 9 am until noon on Saturday in the police/fire station parking lot located at 908 Willis Avenue in Perry. They will also collect tires at the same time at the Perry Garbage/Recycling on Ivy Place.

The list of accepted items includes antifreeze, batteries, glues, gasoline or kerosene, used motor oil and used oil filters, oil based paint and pesticides among other things. Items that won’t be accepted include asbestos, ammunition, electronics, explosives and latex paint among other things.
