The month of July means we are getting closer to the start of the next school year and that means sports physicals and immunizations are starting back up.

Greene County Medical Center has several opportunities for student athletes to get those services done for free. The Family Medicine Clinic will offer free sports physicals on Wednesday, July 12th and Thursday, July 20th from 3-6pm. Greene County Public Health will also conduct immunizations during those times. No insurance or appointments are necessary. However, parents or guardians are asked to bring the sports physical and parental consent forms. Other services include behavioral health and specialists.

Additionally, public health will have its back-to-school clinics on Wednesday, July 19th and August 16th from 4-6:15pm. They also have immunization clinics weekly on Wednesdays from 8am-4:30pm. As for 21st Century Rehabilitation, they will provide free sports injury assessments for county athletes in 7th-12th grades in the high school training room one day every week. Their annual free exam week is from September 11th-15th.
