The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session Monday night.

The Council will consider for approval liquor licenses for Johnie’s Tavern and the Stuart Fremont Theater, before hearing on a nuisance violation on the 600 block of North Sherman Street. They will then review sealed bids for fire trucks and hear about parking at the fire and rescue building from Fire Chief Josh Renslow, and hear about ash tree removal bids and a wages update from Public Works Director Jim Henderson.

Guthrie County Engineer Josh Sebern will attend the meeting to discuss a White Pole Road grant update, then the Council will set a public hearing for construction of street lighting improvements for the Wambold addition, and consider for approval pay estimate number one to McAninch Corporation ($608,020.42) and consider a change order for asbestos removal. They will also consider for approval a proposal to purchase land from Allen and Tawnya Neal, a resolution regarding Saints Center L.L.C. and hear an update from Economic Development Director Matt Funk.
