The Perry Historical Society will organize a program to learn about the history of an appliance. 

Perry Historical Society is an organization created to collect and disseminate the history of Perry, Iowa. They will have a program titled “The History of the Washing Machine in Perry, Iowa,” from 1:30 to 2:30pm on Sunday at the Forest Park Museum in Perry. In this informational presentation they will share facts about the history of two washing machine manufacturers in Perry along with show pictures and videos of the businesses.

The program will be free and open to the public.
