The ADM Tigers baseball team got upset in the first round of the Class 3A-Substate Tournament 3-2 to the Winterset Huskies last night in Adel. The ADM Tigers had a total of nine hits on the night. Junior Rhylan Stine-Smith lead the ADM Tigers with three hits while sophomore Jaxson Book had two hits on the night. Junior Tate Thompson of the Winterset Huskies picked up the win to move them on to the second round of the Class 3A-Substate 7 bracket, as the Winterset Huskies will now have to travel to Carlisle to take on the Carlisle Wildcats with 7:00 first pitch on Monday July 10th.
This loss for the ADM Tigers will officially end their season, where they ended up with 23-9.
