Tonight starts the Annual Casey Fun Days, and the city is ready to celebrate.

Starting at 6pm, there will be registration for the bags tournament, with games to start at 7pm. From 6-9pm Acoustic Roads will be performing live, while the Casey Service Club will be holding a beer garden downtown, with food trucks open for other refreshment options.

Tomorrow morning registration for the Casey Stampede Fun Run/Walk and Tori’s Angels breakfast pancake fundraiser starts at 7am, with the one mile run/walk starting at 7:30 and the 5k run/walk to begin at 8am and starting at the Casey Community Center. Then at 8:30 a bake sale will begin, with a kids parade at 9:30am and the Little Miss and Mister Casey Contest starting at 9:45.

The parade will begin at 10:30am, and a lunch served by the Casey United Methodist Church from 11am to 1pm, and the Boys and Girls Club serving a separate lunch at the Community Center from 11am to 2pm, and an “Amazing Race” themed scavenger hunt starting at the Rolling Hills Bank and Trust at 11:30. Kids activities will be in the city park from noon to 3pm, with a cake walk at 2pm and an outdoor showing of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” at 4pm.
