Wednesday, July 5th

12:31am: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Lincoln Way Streets resulted in Andrew Reisner of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”

11:05pm: An officer assisted a US Treasury Agent in collecting Government property at 800 South Elm Street.

11:06am: An officer answered questions from a subject on how an Involuntary Committal works.

11:46am: Krystal Davidson reported catching a Stray Dog at 507 West State Street. The officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.

12:52pm: Jane Millard reported two Stray Dogs near Pinet and Lincoln Way Streets. The officer did not locate the reported animals.

2:19pm: Pat Schiltz reported several Stray Cats and kittens coming into her yard at 805 West Harrison Street.

3:02pm: Check Foster reported young children, who were outside and unsupervised at 306 West Lincoln Way Street. The officer spoke with the parent, who corrected the issue.

4:14pm: Tracy Bosshart reported clothing items she located in the alley near 206 North Wilson Ave. The items were collected and disposed of by the officer.

5:53pm: Karen Parker reported a possible Assault at 300 North Elm Street. The officer spoke to involved parties and determined an assault had not occurred.

6:50pm: Michelle Cook reported a possible Theft of Services (water) at 604 West Lincoln Way Street. The officer is investigating.

7:47pm: A Traffic Stop was performed with a vehicle at Wilson and Perry Streets Timothy Owens, 48 of Boone, was issued a citation for, “Dark Windows.” The officer was advised that Ownes had an Outstanding Warren County Arrest Warrant and was arrested by the officer for extradition to Warren County.

8:37pm: Trudy Richardson reported fireworks in the 500 Block of North Chestnut Street.

8:54pm: Margaret Mumma reported a Stray Dog at 1006 Westwood Drive. The owner arrived and collected the animal, which had a broken chain hooked to its collar. The owner advised the situation would be corrected.

7:32pm: Emily Fast reported a box of garbage had been dumped at 200 South Maple Street, which was not hers. The officer attempted to locate something in the trash to show who it belonged to, but nothing was located.
