Dallas Center-Grimes ends their regular season on a high note on Wednesday.

Senior Dylan Jensen got his second start in the final game of regular season and he faced an Ankeny Hawk lineup. Jensen threw a complete game while giving up three hits and three earned runs. The Mustangs hang a big second inning scoring four runs on four hits. Five different Mustangs drove in a run  in the game and they won by a final score of 6 to 3. Jensen got his first win on the mound. Dallas Center-Grimes closes their regular season on a 10 game winning streak with an overall record of (28-6) and a conference championship.

They will now face off against Des Moines East in the first round of the Class 4a substate 8 bracket on Friday at 7pm. That game will be broadcasted live on KDLS-2.
