There will be new food items featured at the Dallas County Fair this year.

Dallas County Extension and Outreach Services Director Ann Torbert says they will be serving different kinds of food at their 4-H food stand. Torbert mentions they will be selling a homemade salad along with adding locally made food items like ice cream and beef sticks. She reminds people when they attend the Dallas County Fair next week to check out the 4-H food stand because the money goes to a good cause.

Those funds help kids go to camp at reduced rates, help them with awards and recognition, and also help them with costs associated with trips and other camps that happen outside of the county.”

The 4-H food stand will be operational at the Dallas County Fair from 7am-8pm on July 12-16th at the fairgrounds in Adel.
