The Adel Parks and Recreation is holding session two of their “Art in the Park” program, but the registration deadline is approaching. 

Recreation Supervisor Ramona Dillinger says that children that are between the ages of 5 to 10-years-old will explore their creative side. She explains that they have Rebecca Comer, a local art instructor that is fantastic at teaching children. 

“She’s got a lot of really neat activities planned and art projects planned for the kids and they spend an hour there just having some time to work on their art skills and learning some new things when it comes to art. So we’re excited for this program to really get off and running and to be able to offer this.”

The registration deadline is tomorrow and the program will start on July 10th and run on Monday mornings until July 31st at Evans Park in Adel. There will be a fee of $50 and for more information and registration click here.
