The Perry Public Library Summer Reading Program  will take a short road trip over to a local diverse habitat to explore

The library invites everyone  to their  “All Ages Field Trip,” from 10 to 11am on Wednesday to the Voas Nature Area in  Minburn. Librarian Mindy Farmer says that this field trip will give people from all ages a chance to tour the wildlife at Voas Nature Area and learn about how animals, like ants and bees work together.

“Well, one of the things that we’re talking about is community and working together. So some of the programs that Miss Laura (Pieper)  is doing are focused on animals and the ways that they work together. And so we thought it would be fun to go out to the Vos nature area. It’s also neat to talk about how we can care about our environment.”

Farmer mentions that this event is free and open to the public, but those interested must provide their own transportation.
