A two vehicle crash in Perry Friday morning ends in an arrest and injuries.

According to the Perry Police Department, the incident happened at 5:25am at the intersection of Highways 141 and 144. The police report shows a 1995 Chevrolet Astro van that was driven by Cody Pipkin was traveling north on J Avenue and turning west onto Highway 141. A 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle that was driven by Zach Allison was heading south on Highway 144 and tried to turn eastbound on Highway 141. The two vehicles collided near the intersection where J Avenue and the two highways are located. Allison was taken to a medical facility by Dallas County Ambulance with serious injuries and Pipkin was uninjured.

Additionally, Pipkin was cited for failure to have a valid driver’s license and failure to have proper insurance. He was also arrested on a warrant from Adair County for failure to appear in an unrelated case with a third degree criminal mischief charge.
