The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is getting ready for its events in July.

On Monday they’ll have musician Chad Elliot performing the Wilderman’s Children’s Show from 4-5:30pm. This is a musical performance and book reading. On the 4th the library will be closed for the holiday. On July 10th, Absolute Science will be on hand, throwing their Mega Foam Party event from 4-5:30pm. There will also be a prize drawing, free pizzas donated by Casey’s General Store for a snack, and library staff recommends bringing a beach towel.

On the 11th the Between the Covers book club will have their monthly meeting at 3pm, this time going over the book “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” by Taylor Jenkins Reid. The final event for the first half of the month will be a Lunch and Learn on July 12th from noon to 1pm, with Guthrie County State Bank and Shazam teaching about bank scams and fraud.
