If you are looking for some additional musical entertainment, a new event is happening in Jefferson tomorrow that will satisfy that need.

Tower View Team is hosting the first-ever Porch Fest where attendees can watch live music from four front porches in Jefferson. From 1:30-4:30pm the musicians that are featured included two former Jefferson residents, as well as Des Moines and Iowa City. Some of the professional performers are Iowa Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame inductees. Following the four concerts, will be an additional free concert at Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County with the NOLA Jazz Band at 5:30pm as part of their Summer Concert Series.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the concerts, along with beverages and food as well. There will be wine tasting along the way and food trucks by the Thomas Jefferson Gardens. The concerts are free and open to the public.
