The Panorama Panther baseball and softball teams were in action on Thursday. They were both playing against Ogden.

The baseball team was coming into this game with a 3-20 record after splitting wins against Interstate 35 on Tuesday. They would be up against a pretty good Bulldog team. The Panthers came out swinging, taking a quick 3-0 lead after the first inning. However, Ogden would respond by putting through four runs in the second to take a 4-3 lead after two innings. Which would be the score until the sixth inning. Both teams would add three runs making the score 7-6. Ogden would pull away in the seventh scoring four runs, giving them the win 11-6. Dropping Panorama to 3-21 on the year.

The softball team was trying to shake off a five game losing streak. While Ogden was coming in with a four game winning streak. The Bulldogs would take the lead in the second after scoring three runs. The score would be 3-0 until Panorama scored four runs in the fifth. However, Odgen would add five runs to give them the 8-4 lead after the fifth. That would be enough to lift the Bulldogs past the Panthers, winning this one 9-6. Panorama would drop to 7-17 on the season.

Panorama baseball will be on the diamond tomorrow to take on Coon Rapids-Bayard in the Class 1A Substate 2 bracket. The softball team won’t hit the diamond until Wednesday. They’ll be taking on West Central Valley in Stuart.
