All the counties in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area dipped farther down into deeper drought conditions.

According to the US Drought Monitor, Greene County is almost completely in a moderate drought with the southeastern corner abnormally dry. The majority of Dallas County is abnormally dry with the southeastern portion in a moderate drought and the eastern part of Guthrie County is abnormally dry and western portion is in a moderate drought. 

According to the National Weather Service, for the month of June, Perry has received 3.07-inches of precipitation, Jefferson has 2.82-inches of precipitation and Guthrie Center has seen 1.18-inches of precipitation, which are all way below the normally monthly averages for each town.
