The City of Yale is getting ready for their Annual 4th of July Celebration.
The Celebration begins on Monday, with the Street Dance Rukkus and Beer Garden from 7-11pm at Mikkey’s, including a limited menu. Then on Tuesday, the day will start with pre-race packet pickup for the 9th Annual Three on 3rd 5k Fun Run/Walk at 7:30am, with the race to start at 8am. Also starting at 8 and going until 10am, the Yale Jamaica Bagley TTT will serve an omelet breakfast, and from 8 until 3pm there will be raffle ticket sales.
At 8:30am there will be a just-for-fun pickleball tournament, parade registration from 9-10:30am, vendor fair and farmers market from 10am to 2pm and parade at 11am. After the parade is over, a pork loin sandwich lunch will be served until 1:30pm, with a horse show starting at noon at the horse arena. From noon to 3pm there will be a car show including cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors, and free face painting and balloon artists.
At 1pm, registration for the cornhole tournament will start with a $40 registration fee, and registration for the kids pedal pull starting at 1:30, and both events starting at 2pm. Kids Craft Time and Cookie Decorating will be from 2-3pm, with raffle ticket sales and prize drawing including a cash grand prize from 8-8:30pm, and fireworks to begin at dusk.
