The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.

The Council approved an Iowa Retail Permit Application for cigarette/tobacco/nicotine/vapor for Panora Liquor, LLC, contract rate for emergency medical services (EMS) event contract rates, an update to the city employee handbook and an HSA disbursement/reimbursement policy.
The contract rate for EMS services at events will be $180 per hour for for-profit events, the change to the handbook was in regard to health insurance, moving from a fully funded to partially self funded plan, and the HSA policy would include a tiered disbursement schedule along with partial reimbursement requirement upon leaving employment.
