A Republican presidential candidate made a stop in Adel and Panora on Thursday.

Ryan Binkley was a guest  at the annual Dallas County Potluck and Picnic at Evans Park in Adel and also at the Owls Nest in Panora for a Guthrie County Republicans Meet and Greet.

Binkley has a background as the CEO and co-founder of Generational Equity Group along with being a pastor from Richardson, Texas and has no experience in the field of politics. He told Raccoon Valley Radio what makes him qualified to be the next President.

“So really the things that I specialize in financially are really understanding markets, understanding financial fiscal policy as well as monetary policy and what that does to affect the everyday economy. And right now, our country is really hurting and we are on a track record that if we don’t fix it, the next 10 or 15 years could be really perilous. So I really see our country at a crossroads.”

Binkley states that his platform would include balancing the budget, solving the healthcare crisis, fixing the immigration problem and restoring unity. He will join the other 13 republican candidates that are in the 2024 Presidential Race.
