The Greene County Historical Society is reminding the public about a special program tomorrow.

There is going to be a panel discussion about the social movements from the 1950s-70s at 2pm at the historical museum. The panelists represent different movements, including civil rights and the student movements of the 1960s, the farm movement in the 1970s, as well as environmental and women’s movements and conservative movements during those three decades. The panelists are Patti Miller, Jack Bucklin, George Naylor, Tim Heisterkamp and Mary Richie. Chuck Offenburger will moderate the discussion.

Tomorrow’s program is free and open to the public.
