Drought conditions persist in the Raccoon Valley Radio area.

According to the US Drought Monitor, the majority of Greene County, along with less than the western half of Guthrie County, are under a moderate drought. The rest of Greene and Guthrie counties, and all of Dallas County is abnormally dry. At this same point last year, Greene, Guthrie and Dallas counties were not suffering from drought conditions.
