Area American Legion members are getting ready for a yearly event.

Stuart American Legion Post 146 and the surrounding area are meeting at the Stuart Legion Hall today for the American Legion Riders Event. Everyone is starting from the Stuart American Legion Hall at 10:15am, and traveling to Creston to refuel and visit the Montgomery Street Pub, before stopping in Grand Junction for a free will donation sloppy joe lunch that is being served at Patty’s Back Door.

From there the Riders will fuel up in Osceola, before making stops in Indianola and Winterset, and ending up back at the Stuart American Legion Hall, where they will take part in a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and ride prizes.
