The Warren Cultural Center will be hosting two events this weekend.

Starting on Friday, there will be a performance of “The Call of the Matterhorn” done by WCC Youth Camp participants. The synopsis explains the musical as a story of a mountain that towers above the rest of the Swiss Alps, a mountain only the bravest hearts dare adventure. Filled with magic and mystery, the only question left is will you answer The Call of the Matterhorn? The musical will be a free will donation attendance, and begin at 6:30pm.

The second event to be held is the portrayal of Abraham Lincoln by Lee Williams on Sunday at 2pm. Williams becomes Lincoln, giving a glimpse of the historic figure’s life from childhood to manhood, his career as a lawyer, statesman and President of the United States. He brings Lincoln to life, emphasizing the man’s character, humor, compassion, determination and humility. This “Locals and Legends” series show will cost $15 for adults, and will be free to students high school age and younger. Tickets can be purchased at warrenculturalcenter.com.
