Adair will be holding its Chuckwagon Days this weekend.
Starting Friday, there will be a Good Shepard Bake Sale at Exchange State Bank at 9am, a critter crawl on Main Street from 5-8pm, a kids parade starting at 6 o’clock, followed by Little Mr. and Miss Adair, and at 6:15pm the high school flags team and Adair Dance Academy Dancers will perform on Main Street.
At 6:30 registration for the bags tournament will open, and the tournament will begin at 7:30pm. Food options for the evening will be a pie and ice cream social along with food of the griddle at Blue Goose starting at 5 o’clock, and a dinner prepared by the fire department starting at 6pm. The off the griddle food at Blue Goose will stay open until midnight.
On Saturday, there will be a 5k run/walk, with registration at 7am and start time at 7:30, then at 8:30am there will be kids foot races at Adair Park. A parade will be starting at 10:30am, with a tractor and car show on Main Street and kickball tournament at Adair Park starting at 11 o’clock and poker run at the fire department at noon.
In the afternoon the women’s club will have bingo in Adair Park from 1:30-3pm, a hot dog eating contest on Main Street at 6 o’clock, and street dance at the Blue Goose starting at 7pm. Food options for the day include a pancake breakfast from 7-9:30am and items from Casey Creamery from 7-10:30am, with both taking place at Adair Park. At 10:30 there will be a beer garden and lunch at the fire department, and from noon to 4pm the Casey Creamery will be open again. From 4-9pm, A-Town SmokeShack will be serving food, and the Blue Goose will serve their off the griddle food again from 5pm to midnight.
