West Central Valley baseball dominated Tuesday night in a 14-1 victory against Glidden-Ralston. The Wildcats had 7 hits total on the game as opposed to Glidden-Ralston with 2. West Central Valley went up big 14-0 after 3 innings and never looked back not allowing a single run until the 4th. Landon Osberg and Blaise Beane both had big nights for West Central Valley. Landon Osberg was 2-2 at the plate, and drove in 3 runs. He also stole 2 bases in order to put the Wildcats in scoring position multiple times. Osberg was also stellar on the mound for West Central Valley with 3 strikeouts in 2 innings pitched. Glidden-Ralston was victim to 8 strikeouts total on the game.  Blaise Beane led West Central Valley in RBI’s with 3 on the night. He also stole a base himself to contribute to the teams dominate night offensively. The win moves the Wildcats to 13-9 on the season. They will take on a good Des Moines Christian team on Thursday night. Des Moines Christian is currently 12-11 on the season. That game slated for first pitch at 7 PM on Thursday night at West Central Valley High School.

The West Central Valley softball team is still coming off their win 8-6 against Woodward-Granger on Monday night. They will be back in action on Thursday night as well, also taking on Des Moines Christian. They will look to extend their win streak to 5 games. First pitch of that one is also at 7 PM.
