The Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach has some fun reading days coming up in Adair County Libraries.

Tomorrow from 10-11am, the Extension will be at the Greenfield Library to read “The Rainbow Fish” by Marcus Pfister. The book is about a fish with beautiful shimmering scales who learns how to share throughout the book, and by the end has shared some of his rainbow scales with the other fish around him, and everyone has a beautiful shiny scale.

Next week the Extension will visit the Adair Public Library on June 28th from 10:30am to 11:30am, and on the following day, June 29th, will visit the Greenfield Public Library once again. Next week’s book will be “Roller Coaster” by Marla Frazee. The book works to explain to readers that feeling nervous or anxious are completely normal, especially when trying new things.
