The Adair County Fair Board recently announced their full line up of events for this year’s fair.

On July 12th there will be music from Jesse and the Medicine Men at 5pm, with a free BBQ meal sponsored by the fair board at 6pm, royalty coronation and gazebo presentations at 8 o’clock and fireworks at dusk. Then on the 13th, Toby Kid Strolling Entertainment will be open from 10am to 4pm, with the Ringgold County Garden Tractor Pullers Association truck and tractor pull starting at 6pm.

On Friday the 14th, the Midway Inflatables will be open with admission of $1 each, the Wildwood Hills Ranch Horse Drill team will perform in the Grandstand arena from 6-6:30pm, and Nashville recording artist Eric Chesser will be performing in the grassy area starting at 8:30. Saturday there will be an open jackpot horse show at 8am, kid’s pedal pull at 11:30, Iowa Draft horse pullers at 1pm, and demolition derby starting at 8 o’clock. On both Friday and Saturday, Bear Grove Chainsaw Carving will have performances at 9am, noon and 3pm.

On the final day of the fair, July 16th, there will be cattle dog trials at 7:30am, an open archery tournament at 10 o’clock, antique car and tractor show from noon to 3pm and performance by Wright Rodeo Company at 7pm. Daily admission, including access to the Grandstand, is $10 for adults, $5 for children 5-12-years old, and free for children 4-years old and younger. On Friday only from 8-11am, seniors 60-years or older and veterans will also have a $5 admission.
