Motorists that are using a portion of Highway 30 in Greene County might see some delays in travel time.

DOT Resident Construction Engineer Jenny Hoskins tells Raccoon Valley Radio Midwest Contractors is a subcontractor with Manatts that are currently pavement patching on Highway 30 from the frontage road near Power Lift in Jefferson past Highway 25 near Scranton. She says this prep work will help to keep the three inch asphalt overlay smoother longer when that project starts as early as the end of July.

Hoskins points out motorists are encountering flaggers while the patching is happening, which could go into next week.
