The Guthrie Center School Board will meet tomorrow night.

The Board will meet at 6pm in the Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center Junior High Media Center at the A-C Elementary building for a joint session with the A-C School Board. The Boards will discuss an Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress data review and AC/GC 28E agreements before entering a closed session for a superintendent evaluation, and then consider for approval the superintendent’s contract and 2023-24 student fees.

The Guthrie Center School Board will then enter into their meeting at 7pm. The Board will consider resignations for preschool associate Peggy Dentlinger, junior high cross country coach Rebecca Diemer, high school secretary Nellie Reinhart and elementary paraeducator Clista Mozingo. They will also consider for approval contract recommendations and letters of assignment for extra duty contract, junior high and high school art teacher Wright Lawton, drivers education teacher Shawn Danker, spring coaching recommendations and Eric Coop for Special Education.

The Board will then consider gift, grants and bequests, board policy review schedule, liability and property insurance renewals, milk and bread bids, equipment breakdown insurance, technology purchases, and award project one AHU one and two replacement bids and award the project two AHU three replacement bid.
