The Panorama School Board has named the new Superintendent for the District.

Kasey Huebner was recently named as the district’s next superintendent, after they worked with Grundmeyer Leader Services in their search after Shawn Holloway announced his resignation. Huebner is currently an elementary principal for the Spirit Lake Community School District, and led them to use several new initiatives through different curriculums, and was able to retain 93-percent of the educators he hired. These actions helped him change the elementary buildings rating from “Needs Improvement” to “High Performing.”

Huebner earned his superintendent’s license from the University of Northern Iowa and his professional administrator’s license from Dordt University, and was previously an interim technology director for Spirit Lake. He says that he’s excited to take on the new role in Panorama, and could tell that school pride was strong within the district, and that he looks forward to the experiences the community will have for him, his wife and kids.

Huebner’s wife Terri is a mortgage processing manager for Central Bank, and plans to continue her role with them. Their oldest son Kedrick will start 3rd grade, and youngest son Karter will be in preschool. Huebner officially begins serving the district on July 3rd.
