An Adel man was charged with insurance fraud after allegedly altering documents.

According to court documents, 48-year-old Christopher Robin Cundiff of Adel was charged with one Class D Felony for fraudulent submissions and two Class D Felonies for forgery along with two counts of an aggravated misdemeanor for identity theft.

According to the criminal complaint filed by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau, the charges stem from an investigation that began this past January. Cundiff was arrested and booked into the Dallas County Jail and then posted a $10,000 bond and was released.
