An Adel man was charged with attempted murder for an alleged incident last Sunday.

According to court documents, 65-year-old Kelly Broyles was charged with two Class B Felonies  for attempted murder. 

According to the criminal complaint, on June 11th the Adel Police Department was dispatched to 319 North 7th Street in Adel. The officer that arrived noticed a truck stuck in the yard with multiple flat tires. Victims and witnesses stated the Broyles was allegedly mad he couldn’t get to his garden from the back gate which was blocked by a camper that was parked in the backyard. Broyles then attempted to ram the camper with his truck which almost killed bystanders.

Broyles was booked and remains in the Dallas County Jail under a $50,000 cash or surety bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
