The West Central Valley Wildcats will be back in action tonight as they take on the Creston Panthers at Creston High School. The Wildcats are coming off a 12-4 victory against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines on Wednesday night. The Wildcats opened up an early 8-0 lead in the 3rd inning, well on their way to the 12-4 win. Senior Kaedon Lindsay led the team in hits with 2 of the Wildcat’s 9 hits on the night. He also had an RBI to go along with 10 in the game for West Central Valley as a whole. Junior Landon Osberg was the hero though for the Wildcats as he lead the team in RBI’s on the night, driving in 3 runs. The Wolverines made a surge in the 4th with a 3 run inning, cutting the West Central Valley lead to 5, but it wasn’t nearly enough.

The Wildcats currently stand 5th in the West Central conference standings going into their matchup with Creston tonight. They will look to carry the momentum forward from Wednesday night into tonight and move their way up the standings.
