Public Safety Night at the Perry Farmers Market was a resounding success on Thursday night.
The evening brought local first responders in Dallas County like the Perry Police and Fire Departments and the Dallas County Emergency Medical Services to talk to the public about the services they offer and to create relationships with the community. Perry Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that it was great to have the local first responders sharing information and showing off their equipment.
“So last night was our first of each month, first of our monthly series of different special events with special guests. So we had a public safety night. It’s always a popular night with the fire truck and ambulance and police vehicle and other volunteers sharing information. And so it’s just a great chance to get out in front of the community. We’ve got a great audience at the farmer’s market.”
The next special themed Perry Farmers Market will be from 4 to 7pm on July 20th at it will be Health and Wellness Night. For pictures of the Public Safety Night scroll down.
