The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustang baseball squad out scores a Raccoon River opponent on Thursday.

The Mustang defeated the Gilbert Tigers by a score of 4 to 1. Ty Mikkelsen got his first start of the season and he went 5 1/3 innings giving up three hits, one earned run and struck out nine batters. The bats came around in the bottom of the 4th inning with a double by Taitn Gray scoring Tate Perrin and a Dalton Bergthold single that scored two runners. Dallas Center-Grimes improves their record after this win to (15-5) and will have a quick turnaround when they play a conference opponent Grinnell tonight at 7:30pm in Dallas Center.
