The West Central Valley baseball game against the Ogden Bulldogs on Tuesday had some action to it, as West Central Valley outscored Ogden 2-1 in the first inning, and both teams went scoreless in the second, before the Bulldogs racked up 8 runs in the third to take the 9-2 lead. Ogden then scored 2 runs in the fourth and 3 in the fifth while shutting the Wildcats out, and West Central Valley fell 14-2.
Senior Braiden Beane led the team in hits and RBI’s, with 1 hit, a .500 batting average, 0 runs and 1 RBI. Sophomore Tyson Partlow led the team in the pitching stats, with an ERA of 0, 2 2/3 innings pitched and 2 strikeouts.
