Wednesday, June 14th

1:24am: While conducting business checks an Officer found an unsecured door in the 1400 block of North Elm Street. The Officer checked the property and secured the door.

8:05am: An off-duty Officer reported a loose dog in the roadway at the intersection of South Elm Street and Sunset Road. The duty Officer caught the dog and brought it back to its owner. As a result, Royce Gonnelly of Jefferson was issued a citation for “Animals Running at Large”

8:12am: An Officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance Service in the 400 block of Rushview Drive.

10:50am: Samantha Mason of Ankeny requested a welfare check of persons at a residence in the 100 block of East Central Street. The Officer completed the check and found no assistance was needed. Samantha was advised of this.

6:39pm: A Bomgaars employee reported a wallet had been found on the property. An Officer took possession of the wallet. The owner could not be located by the Officer.

7:18pm: Brittany Cook of Jefferson reported an argument occurring at her residence in the 200 block of East Clark Street involving herself and her adult sister. The Officer investigated and found a criminal charge was not supported. Brittany requested her sister leave her property and she did so while the Officer stood by.

9:05pm: Stacy Myers of Jefferson reported a very young child by herself near the intersection of North Grimmell Road and West Harrison Street. The Officer located the child and found she was being closely supervised by her grandmother.
