After losing a tough game 10-2 over Gilbert Tigers on Monday night. The ADM Tigers responded with 8-2 win over the Boone Toreadors in a Raccoon River Conference regular season matchup in Adel last night. The ADM Tigers had only six hits in the game. Senior Christian Madison went 2-2 with two singles. Junior Grant Rychnovsky went 2-3 with single and double and getting two runs batted in. Junior Grant Jansen went 1-3 with nice hit to the right centerfield gap and clearing the bases with three runs batted in. Sophomore Jaxson Book went 1-3 with single and also got one run batted in. Sophomore starting pitcher Grant Jansen pitched six solid innings only giving two earned runs while allowing eight hits and striking out seven Boone Toreador batters. Then in top of the seventh inning junior Grant Rychnovsky came into relieve sophomore Grant Jansen and he got three strikeouts in a row to secure the win for the ADM Tigers. Sophomore Grant Jansen picked the win in the game and that will put is pitching record of the season at 4-0. The interesting stat of the game was none of the teams had any errors on the night between ADM and Boone.

ADM baseball team will continue their busy week of baseball games this week when they travel to Carroll tonight to take on the Carroll Tigers in a Raccoon River Conference regular season matchup with a 7:30 pm first pitch. On Saturday June 16th the ADM Tigers will play two games in a baseball varsity tournament in Glenwood. In their first game they will play the Glenwood Rams at 9:00 am and in their second and final game of the day they will play the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors at 11:00 am. The ADM Tigers currently have 15-6 overall record and 7-2 Raccoon River Conference record on the season heading into tonight’s game against Carroll.
