The Adel Family Aquatics Center will invite the public for a night of fun at the end of the week.
The “Splash Bash,” will go on from 6 to 8pm on Friday at the Adel Family Aquatic Center. Aquatics Supervisor Ramona Dillinger says that for this event people will get to bring in pool noodles, small pool floats, water toys and other fun pool equipment. Dillinger tells Raccoon Valley Radio the reason for this night of fun.
“It just gives the kids an opportunity to kind of have an element to playing in the water that they don’t normally get in an aquatic center setting. So beach balls, different things like that can be used.”
Dillinger says no large pool floats or mats will be allowed. This event will be free and open to the public.
