The West Central Valley Wildcats were in action last night, taking on cross county rival the Panorama Panthers. In the softball game, the Wildcats outscored the Panthers 3-1 in the first inning, then added another 2 runs in the second. West Central Valley the tallied another 4 runs, only allowing 1 in the third inning, and collected 1 run in the fourth, and 3 in the fifth, taking the game 13-2.
The coaching staff’s player of the game was Tasha William, whose hard work at the plate led her to a 2 of 3 performance. She scored 3 runs and had 4 stolen bases, and helped make a double play from the gap in right field by getting an assist to second base to throw the runner out.
