The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is looking at an action packed week.

Yesterday the library had Absolute Science on hand with bubble stations. Today the Between the Cover Book Club meets at 3pm to discuss their current read, “Love Does” by Bob Goff. Library Director Jerri Hawkins tells Raccoon Valley Radio that even with the first two days of the week having started, there’s still plenty to do.

“We have stuff going on Thursday, we have story hour on Friday. And then we have our cookbook club, our book club and our card making class still.”

The card making class is Thursday at 9am, with a $5 material fee, and the cookbook club meets the same day at 6:30pm, bringing recipes from Miranda Lambert’s “Y’all Eat Yet?” Then Friday morning at 10am, Megan Kelly will read a story about cows for storytime, and Jessica Carney of Synergy Wellness and Physical Therapy will present the lunch and learn class of Clean Ways to Clean: The Basics of Cleaning with Essential Oils.
